Our client creates products that help to diagnose, prevent and treat illnesses and further scientific research for the medical, life sciences and industrial equipment industries. The client sought to sell a division of their business and invited interested parties to undertake a due diligence process to obtain fair bids on the business.
To achieve this, the client wanted to give approved bidders access to confidential information held about the specific business including organisational structure and resourcing, current revenues and costs, existing clients and the current business strategy.
To maintain organisational and client confidentiality, the client wanted a secure Virtual Data Room that their own teams could upload confidential data to, whilst also not being able to see any other team’s data. The client then wanted to vet this data and give access to the bidding teams. Finally, the client specifically wanted the portal hosted within the European Union.
- Condor’s solution engaged the Fieldfisher network and in particular, Fieldfisher Spain.
- Condor set up a HighQ portal to manage this work and assisted with the upload of more than 19GB of data from teams based in over 25 countries across the EMEA region.
- To ensure the portal met with the geographical requirements of the client, Condor created the platform on a server based in the Netherlands, with a backup centre in Spain.
The Condor team in Belfast, with assistance from Fieldfisher in Spain, delivered the project on time and within budget.
