James is a partner in the technology, outsourcing and privacy group, specialising in technology, media and telecommunications transactions and advisory work for clients in the financial, technology and communications and public sectors.

He advises on, prepares and negotiates contracts for: information technology and business process outsourcing projects; IT service provision in single supplier and multi-supplier delivery environments; major systems implementation and procurement; software development, licensing and support; and e-commerce projects.

He has particular expertise in public sector procurement and the application of the public contract regulations. I advise clients on all aspects of the sourcing process and the project lifecycle including, market sounding, tendering, re-structuring, termination, exit and re-procurement. He is also a dual-qualified lawyer and practiced in Australia for 6 years prior to relocating to the UK.
